The Broken Rearend Issue (1 Viewer)

Well if it was due to improperly setting up the gears or something it would be nice to know what not to do. Unless they were trying something for a performance advantage.

In Clay's video he said that they changed anything they could along with a different chassis that Tony used last season with a new clutch can, and a new rear end this weekend just in case (not taking any chances).

I would think Clay will explain it at some point. A performance advantage you guard like gold, but a safety or mechanical issue is widely shared.

Everyone knows that it might be the car in front of them next time. And nobody wants that.

That picture appears to show that this time, it self-destructed internally, whereas with the Pomona ones - didn't the external case break apart?

I set on that PUMPKIN for years. One time the ring gear broke all the bolts a the gear sawed thru the housing scorching my white fire suit. I all most became Mrs. Sutton. 🤬 still have ✌️

Mr. Larry- I've always wanted to take a pass in a FED, but I've never sat in one that was my size before. The ones I HAVE been in were so tight (6'1", over 210#) that the idea of being able to get out in a hurry seemed to be impossible. Been in enough floppers to know I'd rather deal with that exit strategy

Yeah I still can't figure out how these drivers with full safety equipment on can exit a flopper with the body down.
