I was looking through alot of them I was looking to see if there was an explanation of what happened when the dsr bikes laid down a couple of years ago.I was glad to see it but I was curious why they hate the hines boys so much.when you watch drag racing and there is stuff going on behind the scenes the guys on espn tease about the information just enough to peak ones curiosity.

What made you come to the conclusion that the DSR bikes laid down? And what does this have to do with pit curtains?

This is some old sh!t man.

i am new to this website and i was looking through the old pages to see if anyone knew why they hate the v&h team so bad.I watched the race and they without a doubt did that.someone pointed out the first post by me on this page about the summit team dug up and old page.btw I like Sampey and the summit team just would rather see line win than greg though.

I wouldn't call it a hate VH thing. I don't know if anyone can really speak against Andrew or Eddie and people love the H brand.

The issues revolve around the perception that HD has bought rules or maybe leniency with their official sponsor title. Again its a perception by some/many. Who knows if its true.

A lesser issue but to some but another strike, although to no fault of their own, is a countdown championship won when you can't even win a race. Not so much an issue in this case by itself but it does add more fuel to the fire.

I have read all of this and here is some of my observations.

I have never been a fan if the taxi cabs. From the very first ones, to todays. Always go to the john and snack bar when they are running.

That being said, I thought it sucked when NHRA came out with a bunch of new rules aimed squarely at Greg and jason. How much a wrist pin had to weigh. What kinds of metals were and were not allowed in an engine.

Here was a team that was really hard at work developing a performance advantage and they got screwed for it.

So now I still don't follow the class, except I will look at the results, I check on the cabs just to see if Greg or Jason won. I root for those guys just because they don't engage in "monkey see, monkey do" drag racing. Everytime they win since the rules deal, I feel like they are giving all of the whiners the one finger salute.

And if I would ever need parts that I am not already a WD for, I would call Summit.
