Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that we will be playing at Dick's Last Resort on Thursday, September 18th. We had a great time last year and look forward to seeing y'all again! Ya never know who will be stopping by!!!

I'm hoping to be able to be in Texas by Thursday evening, but the schedule is still up in the air right now. If we are there, the Allmand/VegasFuel team will be present at Dick's!

I was at Dick's Last Resort on Monday night at the Excalibur in Las Vegas. $20 all you can drink Bud Light for Monday Night Football. Made Tuesday morning's flight to Nashville a little rough.

Anyway, at first I didn't get the whole "Dick's" thing. Apparently the employees are supposed to treat the customers like crap. After about the third time my waiter made a smart comment to me, I was very annoyed, and that is when he let me in on the joke. Even the hostess told us that our table would be ready whenever they said it would be ready and refused to provide an ETA.

Yeah, it is pretty funny to see the newbies reaction to the staff. The Dallas crew at Dick's is great. We have known them a long time and they always crack me up.

Here is a little hint.........if you ask for lemons or a straw or extra napkins........look out! There is a chance you could end up with a box of straws or a whole bushel of lemons!!! They will just throw the napkins at you!

Last year I got a head's up about the crew, I made it a Point to be a a smart ass. Not getting in till Friday morning, too bad!

Add this to the list of things you'll never hear me say again..... but I can honestly say that one thing I definately miss about living in DFW is spending those seemingly endless long, hot night enjoying Dicks!
