AA/FC It's 1970 and Tim Beebe and his brother Dave team up to run the "Dodge Fever" Clallenger flopper. Tim decided to go funny car racing after the loss of John "The Zookeaper" Mulligan at Indy 1969

AA/FC From EL Cajon, California, it's the late Randy Walls in the seat of his 1970 Chevy Nova flopper. It makes me sad that I have to put late on pictures that I post, but glad I remember these drag racers from when I was a kid. Momories last forever

AA/FD No ID. Found this picture in one of my boxes of drag racing odds and ends. Winternationals 1965 or 1966 is my guess. I remember getting sent to study hall, High School 1976 and I cut this picture out of a magazine, maybe Life Magazine? Thank you Mount Si High School Snoqualmie, WA

Get back to where you once belonged - John Lennon / Paul McCartney

Suzanne, when we were talking this morning about are AA/FD, we are getting there. I scored some Hydrazine...WooHoo

Just remember what I told you..."Leg it" and "duck"

AA/FD It's 1970 at Irwindale and a second or so later the car would take on the guardrail in the far lane. Tom Toler in the seat. Tom was just fine, the AA/FD not so much. From the pages of Drag Racing Photo Greats magazine

That car was owned by Charlie Tolbert (RIP) "Tolbert & Toler" a neighbor of mine back then (North Hollywood CA.), also Tom Toler (Driver) was also a neighbor of mine for a time after I hung it up and moved away from NH.

Charlie later teamed up With Bill Potts on a rear engine top fuel car ,SPE, Carter Paint, Bill Potts worked for Bill Carter for a while and later opened his own paint shop in the west San Fernando Valley.
