Everyone's fine, thank goodness. From what Alan said, a rear tire came off of a truck, and that knocked the tree over.

Like Brian said, not an auspicious beginning of the season for that fellow.

Whew! Thanks for the update and the good part of the news. Yes, that's a really bad start to the season for that racer.

So there are people actually hiring out there?

Yes-All your need is a Ph.D. in Finance and some publications in good journals. The job doesn't start until next Septmeber, but yes we are hiring. Actually, we have only one more candidate to interview (next Monday) and then we'll decide. We're also looking for a Ph. D. in Accounting, and even though the economy is really bad, finding one of them is really not easy.
