I'm in a similar spot. Mike obviously has me on points and you'll get me both in points and wins. Not registering until the second game hurt me. That first game was a gimme. This has been a blast PJ. Thanks again for your time setting this up! :D

Yeah PJ, thanks for putting it all together, it was alot of fun!!! We even had a great motto!!:eek: Congrats Mike, even tho' your beloved ND lost last night, you came out on top! I hear Dave has a great coffee mug, maybe he can donate it to you for 1st prize!!!:p :D

Yeah, he was considered the #1 recruit in the nation. His senior year in high school, he had 67 touchdowns, 30 passing & 37 rushing!!! Played everywhere, returned kicks for TD's, had interceptions on defense, you name it. 6'-3", 225 with 4.2 speed and as strong an arm as anyone...

High school success doesn't always carry over, but I'm looking forward to seeing how he does.

Hey, I had fun even coming in last!!! I TOLD you I don't follow college football. However, it is fun watching you all "go at" each other.

Man, Ohio State sure needs to win to save face for the dreaded Northern Triangle of Football (OSU, Notre Dame, and Michigan).

Guessing they probably will, but hoping they won't.

ya know when Michigan first lost my first reaction was I hope Ohio State loses too (sorry Teri, it's that hot headed Italian thing) Now I just don't care.



I'm glad the Detroit Lions ended up with the second pic though, I think Quinn will be a decent pro qb but LSU's Jamarcus Russell would look great in a Detroit uni. Although for his sake I hope it doesn't happen
 
Hi everyone from the stone age! I actually did get to see the second half of the game last night via generator--Congrats Kelly! Geaux Tigers! Don't know how I am doing in the contest, but I think I suck. Entered two games late, and made some good choices that turned bad. So it goes. Best of luck to Ohio State, Teri-- hopefully I'll have power by then, but it ain't looking too good. How the hell did the pioneers make it? Well, the bank wants their computer back, so hi to all my mater friends. And thanks to PJ for all the work setting up the contest! Hasn't this thread been a lot of fun?

I don't know, but I kinda like Tom's OU avatar--wonder if he'd let me come on board? Maybe Tim would like to use the NU logo--wait a minute, the Horns won, right? I'll probably be stuck with the NU thing then. Teri, how's the big game hoopla going? Not getting much news at this time--keep me filled in!
 
Not sure if anyone cares about the trials and tribulations of Terry following the ice storm, but here's the latest update anyway. Finally was able to get ahold of a 6500 watt generator yesterday, and my name comes up on the electrician list tomorrow to wire it into the main so by tomorrow night I may actually have some heat and water for the first time since last friday. The gen manufacturer cautions against computer use with the generator though, so my mater visits will still consist of stolen time from my buddies at the bank in a neighboring town. Hi to all and keep me posted on the happenings--I'll be checking in when I can.
