Take that Stoops! You were dominated all night and counted on miracle after miracle to even match the likes of those little potatoe pickers and they not only out thought you, they showed real man parts by taking it to you for the win!
Well done Boise State! You were superior in every way and I guarantee every honest player from Oklahoma will agree.

I'll stand by this proudly for my 500th post!

:mad: Typical Lloyd Carr bowl game appearance. I've been a Carr supporter through the last couple "off" years but I just did a swan dive off of the wagon. Another uninspired bowl performance! They looked so freakin flat! They should NOT have lost that game will all of the talent on this year's team. :mad:

Also this may be the worst that I've seen Henne play in a big game yet. He hasn't beat tOSU or won a bowl game yet. It's not ALL Carr. Plenty of blame to go around.

My WOLVERINES didn't show up but I was winning big or losing big with them (32 pnts) I guess losing big ... :o

WOW did I ever take a hit yesterday in points! My WOLVERINES and the Oklahoma loss cost me a combined 59 points. OUCH! I can hear the fat lady warming up. :o

OK, after watching that Boise St / OU game last night & getting to work late this morning because it was so late.... Combined with Michigan getting throttled by USC....

We were all wrong, Boise State should be playing Ohio State for the national championship....

Seems like Mich can always be counted to choke their collective CHICKEN'S when it comes to bowl games.:rolleyes: :mad:
 
Wow isn't it great Today is the Rose bowl game, granddaddy of them all. Hoepully they'll let ole Keith Jackson give one of his ohhh nelly shoutouts. USC vs Michigan. I hate playing usc and ucla there its basically a home game for them but we're better and will crush them.

Although I did have this crazy dream last night that USC just stomped us but I know that's impossible. It's not like USC would blitz us non stop because we could easily use Hart in a couple fo screen passes and that would slow down the rush. So it was just a very bad dream.

Yup can't wait for the game to start......although why am I sitting at work its its Jan 1???? it was a dream right??? Why do I hear music playing in my head??
 
I'd say the way the 2 BCS bowls have turned out so far, there couldn't be a better example of why a playoff is needed. All this "what if" stuff we have to do is crap.

All the talk prior to the bowls was of the screw job Michigan got, they should be playing Ohio State, etc. Then they go out & get hammered by USC, who lost ugly in their previous game to UCLA, who lost their bowl game to a weak Florida State.

Not to mention Boise State, WOW what a performance!!! Why not, why don't they deserve a shot at a national title???

I couldn't agree more Brian. I still stick with my belief that (AT THE TIME OF THE VOTE) Michigan should have been in the NC game according to the current system. However I do NOT believe in the system itself! I strongly feel that there should be a playoff. Absolutely Boise State should have had a shot or why NOT a co-national champ now? They are undefeated! It will NEVER be without controversy until a playoff is in place. It's the only fair system. It's ironic because the latest group of bowls solidifies that. You HAVE to play the games. It's not who people think/vote is the better team. It's who wins the actual game.

GO BLUE!!! ... NEXT YEAR :o
 
As usual, the WolverQueens lay an egg in yet another Bowl game. No wonder they have one of the worst Division I records in Bowl games.

So far, proof that once you kick it off, anything can happen. Still thinking there's reason why Las Vegas has all those fancy hotels and casino's.

On a brighter side I got to hang up my 2007 BUCKEYE Football calendar, it looks good.......well not as good as my Tim McGraw calendar, but it still looks good!

OK, I'm confused, who is the rightful national champion if Ohio State should lose next Monday and even if they win whose to say they are superior to the "Tater Aggies" as they have been called?
