spectator turn out

Was the spectator turn out good at the first nation event at the Dallas raceway this past weekend?

Not too good from what I hear. Under 20,000 for the entire weekend. Looks like it could be a great facility so hopefully the event will grow in the future.

Maybe a 1,000 on Saturday. My ticket said #86.
That track and IHRA have alot of work ahead of them to draw paying "drag racing" spectators.

Yeah I sure hated to miss it but I had a vacation in the mountains to get in before summer heat sets in.

I'll bet both the track and the race get much better as folks learn about them.
I plan on going out there at least for some test and tune time soon.

To New Mexico the Guadalupe's ! I grew up there .
Throw in a little Cloudcroft and Rudioso and the Capatains and headwaters of the Pecos River near Taos and you got a deal ! LOL
