So... What did you think? (7 Viewers)

I honestly thought that the first round of the Triple Crown was pretty damn good! The Live stream on Youtube was well produced and straight to the point with No rambling during the runs and when they had the rain delay, The IHRA and production team mixed it up with the " Get to know" the driver and replaying the actual race instead of filled B.S. At the top end, Kristen Banks, I think that she does an Awesome job with the Non-repetitive questions of "how do you feel" and gets who ever is at he top end in the camera shot Involved. No, I Am Not a hired gun from the IHRA. This is my viewpoint. I know that there are many that think negative about the IHRA but what Darryl has done so far is an indication of the future the sanctioning body, This gonna be not only a breath of fresh air but Awesome. This is a full blown unique format different from NHRA. just my opinion what does everyone think?

I enjoyed it. I've watched several of the races and this one was managed well. I'm glad they went to 1000' withthe fuel cars. I'm pretty sure the extra distance created different results in lots of the races. I think they need to get better at the graphics for results and driver's names. They were not showing ET's on some runs and 1/8th mile instead of 1000' ET's in the graphics. Looks like they forgot to change it to 1000' after Top Fuel Bike ran and FC started. Enjoyed Spyderman interviews. First time I really heard from him. I think everyone is getting more comfortable in their roles.

Live stream was good, appreciated proper camera angles on all classes and low key announcers.
Sound is still bad, but better than their competitor.
Did not like announcer apologizing for a drivers candid language after an exciting victory

This was my first IHRA event since the ownership change. From a racer/team perspective, there really isn't much they could have done better aside from some minor communication things (lots of tracks/sanctioning bodies suck at this part). They take good care of you. They make sure you have what you need. If you need extra time making a round, they do their best to work with you. I think if they continue on the path they are on and word continues to spread, participation will stay strong and perhaps even increase. The crowd could have been better, but I didn't think it was awful either. Looking forward to the next one.

Friday had to be one of if not the smoothest ran races I have ever been to. Very little down time, the track prep was quick, the next class was rolling in the water box before the last pair of the prior class had even staged. Each event has gotten better and better

Was there both days. Been years since I had been to this track. There has been a lot of work done since I was there last. SAT. Was impressed , well run , 18 TFH so they made the field 16 bikes. Sun.... stayed pretty much on schedule. Left after the rain ( had a 4 1/2 hr drive home) Only down side wish they all ran to 1000'. I did hear TFH requested 1/8 mile ( not sure if true).

I have been to several of the shows now and IMO they have all been well run. They do need to work on downtime some although it has gotten much better from last year. I was impressed with them getting back running Saturday as NT does not like to dry out very fast. I live 2 miles from the track and said to the wife I am pretty sure they are done for the day only to hear them fire up a little later.

Both nitro bike classes requested 1/8 mile. Not enough stopping distance there for them to safely run any longer of a distance than that.

I think the IHRA is making great strides in making the sport better and don't understand the nay Sayers.
