So... What did you think? (3 Viewers)

if you have a nitro budget, along with all other summer plans and expenses, and you drive, not fly to your nitro fix, and
also live in or near ohio; do you attend the ihra race? or are you waiting for norwalk? or maybe went to bristol? or waiting for
the US nationals? ...... due to proximity of race, and circumstances of maple grove raceway, i think reading ihra race may be
very well attended?

I drove from Northern Alberta last year to attend the Dallas event (2000 miles). Have also driven to Pomona, Seattle and Vegas. I am working on relocating to your great country. Once I do, I'm hoping to attend a lot of races. Whatever I can get my hands on really. But I plan on driving to most. I could see where being in some kind of proximity to the next race would allow for better attendance.

It was good racing. More spectators than before but still not a lot. I wonder what percent of NHRA Nat Event fans travel a long way (flying or driving) to an event vs being fairly local to the track. I wonder if IHRA is mostly getting locals without many long-distance traveling fans? I usually fly to Pomona, PHX or Las Vegas, but at this point wouldn’t consider flying to an IHRA event.
We flew from Texas for Columbus and both Dunn races. Coming to Maple Grove in Sept. If my girlfriend had the vacation days, we'd be at them all.
