This is rich. She says she's leaving because they wanted her for three more years and she would only give them one.

Um, if she were in that big of a demand and you couldn't get her for the three you wanted, wouldn't you take her for the one that she was offering? There I go thinking again.

I think the confusion is that they said they would pay her $ XX for 3 years. She thought she was worth $ XX for one..............

Re: Rosie wanted Barbara out !

I find that a little hard to believe. Jeez..it's Walter's show.

Sounds like The Agent:

"insiders tell the New York Post."

"according to several ABC sources close to the situation."

I'm glad she's gone..but that's a little over the top for me.

Why would that be so difficult to believe David? The woman thinks she's God's gift to Television. With that mentality, I don't have to stretch too far to believe that she would want that. Welcome to the world of over inflated egos.

Just when the show got to the point of showing the altercation ... I got a phone call. I know she was ranting with the young blond girl, but what was it about? (well, I can probably guess any one of her America hating Liberal BS)

LOL, what a fight! It really highlighted what so many of us have been saying about liberals who think insulting equals debating. I've met/debated with very few who won't do that.

Rosie called Elizabeth a coward, pretending to know what her intentions were when she didn't defend Rosie for asking who the real terrrorists in Iraq were. Yeah, it is amazing that Don Imus was out on his can so fast while Rosie can sit there and bring the woman's religion into an argument and there's hardly any outcry.

That was like a female version of Hannity and Colmes, something this country could probably use. If some media company isn't seeing dollar signs right now, they should be out of business.

when she hit the scene back in mid-late 80's?, used to watch her on
letterman and tonite show - she was an absolutely hilarious comedian.
then something happened to her and her whole public persona changed.
i don't get it.
i'm glad to see her gone.

Paul Bergalnd put on another thread already referenced to

A guy that I work with today said, "when Ellen came out she got nicer and funnier, but when Rosie came out she just got meaner and more spiteful."
