So 5 bye runs in top fuel first round. Are they going to line them up in odd pairs, run all the bye runs together? Without getting into yet another discussion of why the fields are short, I'm thinking this might turn out to be what finally puts the ding on 4-wide racing.

Sorry, I was looking at preliminary results and didn't realize some had sat out Friday qualifying.
Let me issue an official retraction (and sympathy for fans who only saw a partial qualifying field)

Yep, a very large crowd today. I doubt the 4 wide is going anywhere... except maybe to Las Vegas.
