it sure was a pleasure watching chris (and luigi) come and race at BIR every august. every year i'd think to myself, 'this isn't gonna' last forever'.
sure seemed like forever. i really miss those guys. sure wish krista would keep the tradition going by showing up at BIR.
wonder what became of luigi's operation?
Luigis car is being driven my Mike Bucher as of late

what is the future of drag racing w/o the dodge/mopar branding? will dodge fade away? but mopar parts division stay? or be sold off?
the 2024 schedule still shows 'dodge power broker u.s. nationals'

Maybe this will replace Mopar. Might be better build quality, LOL.

Just kidding.;)

One thing I've been wondering about is if the UAW strike could impact future sponsorships from any of the Big 3?

it appears as if this generation of muscle car production is coming to an end as we know it. That may have more effect than a strike.

Chrysler already has a turbo 6 banger than will replace the Hemi. Supposed to have over 400 HP. Also lotsa turbo 4 bangers that can produce some serious power in a small car. That is the future of the muscle car, as far as I can tell. Be cool to have a Honda Civic R, turbo 4, 2000CC, 315 HP and top speed of 170.

They've been irrelevant in Pro Stock for almost a decade, so no loss there. As for the rest? We'll see.
