He's got it going on in IHRA, especially if they announce a points fund. At every race, his crew had on IHRA shirts, don't see that everywhere.Wouldn't surprise me if it's Del in the Cornwell car.

Two months ago I would have agreed that he was /is loyal to Connie. However the Procks have shown that there is no loyalty in the sport. JFR gave Austin a chance and look what happened. Hopefully where they landed includes part ownership otherwise they will jump when a better opportunity presents itself. In fact Procks leaving JFR had to be in the works for a while I'm sure they took as much intellectual information with them that the could.
I left JR out due to the fact he was/is rumored to be on the short list for the Cornwell car. We will all know in a week....and JR Todd.
Tony does make an appearance from time to timewait a second here. you expect me to believe that cruz pedregon got rid of the guy who he praised up and down
as he held the reading trophy? ........ and, if it's true t. smith to kalitta, who made the call the to bring him back after 1 year away?
my guess would be d. venables wanted him? ........ anybody here think tony shortall is gonna' show up back in the nhra?
for sure, but back to the nhra working full time for one of the few touring cars?Tony does make an appearance from time to time
when you consider what he has to do now showing up on Friday and leaving Monday just to drive is a piece of cakeDel is 55, be surprised if he wants to do the full tour grind as a driver.
I doubt itfor sure, but back to the nhra working full time for one of the few touring cars?
I know anything is possible, but Kalitta just let Todd Smith go a year ago to bring Dickie in. You think he'd go back?Told you guys about Jon leaving Kalitta, I believe they brought Todd Smith in.
What makes you think Cruz " got rid of him". Could it be somebody (Force) lured him away.
If they made him an offer he couldn't refuse.............. yesI know anything is possible, but Kalitta just let Todd Smith go a year ago to bring Dickie in. You think he'd go back?
Well cruz good luck, get a veteran cc!
That's what I heard is happening, but can't be sure.I know anything is possible, but Kalitta just let Todd Smith go a year ago to bring Dickie in. You think he'd go back?
If JFR calls Del to drive the Cornwell Tools funny car, I’m 99 percent sure he would jump at the opportunity. Don’t kid yourself. Getting paid to drive compared to running your own team on a small budget. No comparison. He's got it going on in IHRA, especially if they announce a points fund. Julie Nataas would be just as compelling.Let's just put Ida in the Cornwell Funny, personality and talent, can't go wrong
He would never do that, he can run IHRA and become rich.If JFR calls Del to drive the Cornwell Tools funny car, I’m 99 percent sure he would jump at the opportunity. Don’t kid yourself. Getting paid to drive compared to running your own team on a small budget. No comparison.
Del would be a surprise choice for the Cornwell Funny Car. But it seems that he might fit the parameters of the rumor mill, much like Tommy Johnson. And they're around the same age. And I agree that I think the offer would be too good for Del to pass up. Also, I think Del would be more of a fan favorite than Tommy Johnson. If JFR calls Del to drive the Cornwell Tools funny car, I’m 99 percent sure he would jump at the opportunity. Don’t kid yourself. I'm putting the odds between slim and none. Del gets paid to have other guys race his cars. He has 3 FCs and all the support equipment to go with them. Also, his dad isn't doing so well either. That's got to be weighing on his mine too.If JFR calls Del to drive the Cornwell Tools funny car, I’m 99 percent sure he would jump at the opportunity. Don’t kid yourself.
