Hey Darr sorry to nitpick but its not totally lifted IMHO

3. Based upon this sworn testimony, the decertification against Impact Racing products for the production years 2009 and 2010 is lifted. The decertification of the production years prior to 2009 and 2010 remains in effect. The parties will continue to work cooperatively in an effort to resolve the issues relating to decertification in these years.

It still may happen but if your gear is 2008 or older, not certified yet.

ps Who adds a happy face to thier signature on a press release anyway...

APRIL FOOLS:eek:
Hey Darr, did you notice that I used the font (impact)
I like to keep everything uniform:p

The statement address' the lifting of decertification of IMPACT products manufactured during the 2009 and 2010 years.
Does this only include products manufactured to date in 2010?

Part of SFI's original decertification of IMPACT was:
'TERMINATION OF ALL CONTRACTS OF PARTICIPATION ISSUED TO IMPACT'

Is that decertification of IMPACT still in effect?

If someone finds more clearification on what is still decertified, or if anything is, please post. I have a 2007 -20 suit that has been in limbo for about a year now. I need some more info because if my suit gets refunded I need to get on it ASAP!!

Thanks for posting Darr!

I took my 2008 sfi tagged impact f/c boots to the impact trailer in Houston, and they swapped them out for 2010 sfi tagged f/c boots.

Was the Maytag repairman still there keeping the Impact rep company?

I'm done with 'em . . . too much drama on all phases of our 2009 /15 custom suit and shoes order and he is far too willing to risk his brand for money. That brand is his asset . . . what is he willing to risk with my ASSet?

Looks like they are trying to get business back in line. We have a pair of Simpson -20 boots that are not even a year old and the bottom sole is falling out. Called Simpson and they pretty much said too bad not our problem. They used to help you out or repair at a cost but they don't care anymore. Simpson is riding the demise of Impact to a new low and uses Impact problems to say their stuff is good. If they will not do anything about the boots either repair (at charge) or replace, we are going DJ on all of our stuff and I will never buy Simpson again. The -20 gloves fit bad and are made in China. Just FYI.

I opened my helmet box upon delivery and discovered my Simpson helmet was made in China. That really made my f&^%$g day. My 2008 Impact firesuit jacket has a tag but no punches. I used to think both Simpson and Impact had my back. Wrong again!
