IMO i appreciate the effort to put a car on track for E1 on sunday, no matter how underfunded. i think most nat. events have their
regional independents they look forward to seeing every year. ron smith is definitely that TF racer at seattle.

At least it was his loss and his foot which means he can't blame it on the NHRA, fans, crew chief, new unproven parts, the price of beef or climate change.

I can understand the frustration of bulbing in the final. I've got that T-shirt myself so I gave him a pass for assaulting the wall. No sense of trying to interpret or change a grown man with strong emotions and a hot temper. It doesn't personally affect us so let 'em race; the sport needs that team out there.

Why would Leah make the Mexico comment about her not ducking from a fight "like some others"? Who would those others be? That makes no sense. A big ol' who-gives-a-damn anyway.

Ive never met Ron Smith but I always root for those guys when it comes time for the Seattle race. The fact that he and that team spend the time and money to do what has to be done just to make it to the track with all the stuff that needs to be re-certified every year just to make a couple laps every year is certainly commendable.
