I see In-N-Out Lyndsi is racing her Top Sportsman car at Seattle this weekend. I don't think she normally ventures far from So CA to race. Interestingly, she was not at Sonoma last weekend.
Supposedly she may have more or less moved to TN recently, due to CA politics being unfavorable to people that actually work for a living. If so, I wonder if the race car will stay in CA?

I was going to say, I know I saw her crew there… they were staying in the same hotel we were.
Oh, OK. Interesting. Thanks for that info. Maybe putting some laps on the car to get more data? Or maybe she had to cancel at the last minute.

major improvements in e.t.'s in Q3.
when par willen posts his r.t. statistics, justin ashley of course has always been known for stellar lights.
then looking at par's statistics, you also notice justin's teammate will smith has also been cutting stellar lights.
today in seattle Q3 justin has .060 r.t., a little slower than normal for him, then followed two runs later by will's .059.
extremely similar. just an observation.

I’ve had a theory for a while that Justin Ashley has something legal that helps his reaction time. Odd that Will Smith and Daniel Wilkerson also have great reaction times and they are less experienced than Justin. I believe if it was car related, Mike Green would have it on Tony Stewart’s car to help him out. I don’t think Stewart’s reaction times have improved between last year and this year with his crew chief change. Doing some research, I found a company that makes contact lenses which helps you see colors more clearly and are designed to help athletes.

Few just a few exceptions, that was a very poor Q3 in F/C. The conditions seemed good, though, with high 60's temps. But most cars went up in smoke. Any theories? Is there different track prep glue being used the last few races?
On the other hand, Q3 of T/F was mostly the opposite, with just a few cars going up in smoke.

When that happens I always think they got too greedy with the tuneup. There were no oil downs or delays so the track conditions didn’t change drastically from the start of Top Fuel.

Hey gotta say the crowd in Seattle is looking up on Sat. vs what it was last year. I heard the track owner was not very happy about the turnout last year, so I’m glad they figured out something and turned it around a decent bit. It didn’t sell out, but better at least. Maybe Sunday tomorrow will be packed? Don’t know, but it’s a hell of a lot better than last year.

Wilk won his first ever Mission Foods challenge beating Prock and Antron won in TF. When Costello told Tim Wilkerson they were going to race Prock in Rd 1 he said WTF on the air on .TV! In PS Joey Grose didn't qualify and ended up on his roof and on fire but walked to the ambulance. And neither of the RWR cars exploded a rear end!

Watched Clay's video from Friday at Seattle, looks like the Chrisman rear ends were breaking from the Italian made gears (Chrisman can't get any gears from the American gear maker they use) so they swapped Tony's car to a Strange rear end. Clay is still running the Chrisman with what American made gearsets they have left, may have to switch to Strange in his car also. I think Antron is the only other full time team running Chrisman's also. When the Strange rears were breaking it was the foreign made gearsets also, rumor is the steel used in those was"dirty".
Ask Eddie Hill what shoddy metallurgy can do to a race team. Two defective cast aluminum blocks not only were directly responsible for him folding his Top Fuel operation - two cars completely destroyed within 2 weeks - but pushed NHRA to immediately mandate billet blocks. As far as I know the manufacturer was never revealed. Hill ran several over the years; JP-1, TFX, Keith Black and possibly some others.
