Taking advantage of getting smokin deals on all the lots for some pretty lavish extras in a big package...

Dealers here in Tucson are selling $25K trucks for $15K- so BOTH sides will never learn... Gas after Christmas will blow through the roof again, and the car manufacturers need to stop thinking that every soccer mom needs a HumVee- that is the biggest mistake Detroit made, IMO..

I have a trailer, so I bought a truck. I had kids too, but I never thought I needed a bus to haul them around...

I know that when we were growing up, my parents preferred the closeness of the Chevy Silverado pick up (which my dad STILL drives!) so that we were all within reach to smack!!!:D

If we were to have a van or something like that, it would be too easy to get away!!!haaahahahaha!

Martin I don't think gas will go up until Oil goes up, right now it's around $54 a barrel. But come May I think it may do that very thing.

When Diesel was close to $5 a gallon someone on a ford Truck forum was bragging about getting a loaded F-350 dually for something like $19K off MSRP. Now that diesel is back down, dealers are tightening up.

Ha! Sounds like my family! My parents thing was "Come here so I can smack you".

Woe to the butt cheeks that didn't get over there when you were called for a beating...:o

We got gas last night for $1.63 a gallon! It is as low as $1.59 on the north side of town. I actually have money left over from my last paycheck since the gas prices have gone down. I just have to sock that money away for when it goes up again.

Sock money is for wimps!! Stick that money away in a bazumba bridle Suzie and you'll be rich by the time gas goes back up!! :D

Again, I'm the odd man out. My wife has had Suburbans since 1985 since we just can't seem to exist without one. From then on, we've never not been without one and I drive a crew cab Duramax dually as does Buzzz.
I did pay $5.50 per gallon for diesel in Southern California while visiting my oldest daughter's family last year. I put $100. in to get me enough to make it into Arizona. That Benjamin only got us 1/2 tank. I made the joke to the family that I would fill the transporter if it ever got down to $4.00 per gallon since it holds 200 gallons so I wouldn't have to spend a grand to do so. Before I got to fill it up it went below $3.00 and not nears $2.00. Go figure. We are being manipulated like puppets.
For the ones who believe they won't go even higher than before, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you.

I got gas for $1.57 a gallon yesterday, but I still see it around $1.80 in Houston proper.

Yes, it will go back up I'm sure. But I'm diggin' it now! :)

At the grocery store I got gas for 1.45! It was a 1.60 but they give you gas credits for how much money in groceries you buy and I got the 15 cents off credit doing grocery shopping for Turkey day.

$1.85 here in SoCal, but I noticed the gas stations are quiet. Not many customers. Figured folks would go hog wild and start travellin' when the prices came down. Not seein' it.

btw, I was beaten with a belt when I got out of line. :o

I went to Allen Tx last weekend and filled up before we left. Gas was $1.49 a gallon in Sherwood just outside Little Rock. You also could not get in the parking lot of the gas station. Bought it for $1.65 down the road--decided I didnt need to save $2 bad enought to wait an hour. Bought Exxon 93 octane premium last night for $1.63 in our town. I just wish diesel would come down where I could afford to drive the dually more.:)
