The anouncer said it look like he two stepped it , to me it look like something broke , any info ?

He stepped on the loud pedal too early - simple as that. Post race interview he said, "never done that before and it couldn't have happened at a worse time..."

First career red light.

It looked to me like he just slapped the gas while still holding the brake. The car came to a stop so fast , it was only about halfway through the stage beams. The right foot just said it was time to go.


I think Jim Dunn said "If you don't red-light once in awhile, you ain't trying hard enough".
