I remember him coming in to our pits with a lit cig and using his palm as an ash tray rather than flick ashes in the pit. Cool Dude. P.S. Great hair !

Dick was one of a kind. What a talented guy, and humble. He did not have a big mouth, but when he spoke, there was no question about what he was trying to say. We could do well with a few more like him.

My first contact with Dick happened when I worked on Tim Arnolds TF car that was built by Wayne Farr
as well as Dicks cars at that time 72-74.
Farr's shop was across a small field from Dicks house ang shop. So naturally we would get together.
I would go to Chicago to get nitro and Kim and her mom would come down to Coldwater in a station wagon
to pick up a drum.
I also remember the one summer 75? when Dick had two bad accidents. The Wheel Pants issue, when his wife said
the car goes or I do. Well we know how that worked out.
RIP My friend you made a great impression on people without even knowing it.
