One of my favorite memories was when they cut the roof off of Kenny Bernsteins car and put it on Beadles car.
Eugene, I saw Bob's photo but am not familiar with that story. Could you provide a few details? Thanks!

I wish some how the N.H.R.A. could find a way back to these very magical times.
Hitting the right formula for success is not easy but but during the 60's 70's and 80's the N.H.R.A. nailed it for sure.
Just my opinion. Jim Hill

Nobody mentioned he was the owner of the famous Chaparral Trailer Company....those gooseneck and huge semi trailers at the track were awsome
Bob, that last picture you have is of Beadle and Richard Schroeder taken at Firebird Raceway in Boise

I was at Chaparral Trailers back in the late seventies or early eighties and there was a brand new pink gooseneck trailer sitting in the lot waiting for the new owner to pick it up, so i had to take a look inside...it turns out that the owners name was Shirley Muldowney. Then later in the day i got to take a tour of Beadles race shop.Nobody mentioned he was the owner of the famous Chaparral Trailer Company....those gooseneck and huge semi trailers at the track were awesome
I was under the impression that Sam Harris was some how connected to Chaparral, either a partner or something. He then took it over and renamed it Competition Trailers. I had one of their trailers and picked it up at the factory in Texas.Did Competition Trailers get it's start as Chaparral Trailers or am I wrong?

It was nice to hear ESPN commentators Nicole Briscoe and Rusty Wallace acknowledging Beadles passing during the Nascar pre race show. It was also nice that the Martinsville Speedway Chaplain Mike Hatfield offered a prayer for condolence for Raymonds family.
When you enter Hendricks race shop there is a wall with large pictures of everyone that was on that plane. It was a sad scene for sure.I saw that too Eugene. It was good to see Junior win, and I was happy for Rick Hendrick too. I can't believe it has been 10 years since that plane crash.
