I hate to ask this here but we just pulled in to stack and are looking for showers. The security guards were not sure if they do or not..

Ya Gotta Love the Mater for what it is-
THE KOA of Track side amenities, lodging, food and entertainment.

If it has to do with ANYTHING DRAG RELATED---------You know where to get the answer.....

Hope there was plenty of hot water Troy.

We were told that the showers were for campers only. We sweet talked her and made a deal for the week.
There are probably 50 here now.

Thanks for the help

trying not to hijack the thread , but I am flying out to take customers to the races and need to know if we can tailgate in the " Prefered High Dollar parking""

A racing legend( who will remain un named said yes but was unable to get an answer from calling the track this morning.

So looking forward to a few days of Nitro mayhem

Thanks in Advance

Kevin,

It's never been a problem to hang out and tailgate in that lot. Unless something has changed this year.

Holy cow, no, it's no problem. There's one group who sets up an easy-up there twice a year and parties so hard I always wonder if they every make it into the seats :)

Great News to hear !! can I park there ( like outside the entrance so i can get close in to the gate for my customers so we dont have to walk like 2 miles to get to the camp so i can feed them and entertain??

I made the mistake of sleeping in once and getting to joliet at 9:00 am and i was in row z for parking

Thanks for all your help my fellow Nitromaters

I seem to remember those "prefered lots" fill up fairly early in the morning. I'd get there early rather than later.

Thanks John I will be on central time zone yet , I will be up milling around at 03:00 hrs , I hate that when i have to travel to corporate in Long Beach , the meetings are deadly as I want to doze off at 2:00 in the afternoon

Thanks

Kevin

You can park at the museum and ride the tram for that 2 mile walk.
For a shower at the KOA pick a site number and tell em your in that one.
