Pomona photos part 1

Excellent action shot of Jim Head's car Buzz. That flame around the rear wheelwell looks wild. Obvious cylinder out on that side too.

Mike, those were great shots you took as well. Quite a long haul for you to cross over the pond to a race on the West Coast. You picked a great race to attend, though.

Yeah it was a long haul, but well worth the 12 hour flight buddy. If only I could get a damn green card!

Thanks for all the Pics Michael, you've got a great eye!;)

What's going on......

What's the story on the leaking(?) dumpster?

Man - the pic with you and Alan J. is awesome!

What's the story on the leaking(?) dumpster?

I was wondering that myself. looks as if someone broke off a fire hydrant and then rolled a dumpster over it. Were the sanitation engineers a little careless with last nights pickup?

Micheal very nice pictures! Was a pleasure to meet and talk to you for awhile over the course of the weekend. Unfortuantly my site seeing part of my trip had to be canceled never in a million years did I think my vacation would end with putting my grandpa to rest:( . Hopefullly next weekend sometime I will have my Pomona pictures up.

David, I'm so sorry. :( Hang in there and take care of yourself. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers they are greatly appreciated. After my Grandma died a month and a half ago my Grandpa pretty much gave up on life and you could see him getting weaker and weaker with every passing day. I kinda knew this day was comming but did not expect it to be this soon. I will miss him greatly but I know he is in a better place no more back pain and having trouble walking and most importantly he always wanted to die in his own house so he was granted that wish. They have it listed as heart failure on his death certificate but in my eyes he died from a broken heart. My grandpa would not have wanted me to stop having fun so I did my best to finish the weekend out having as much fun as I could in Pomona and on the way home I stopped at the grand canyon and got him his baseball cap he asked me to get for him and we put it on him. Thanks again everyone.
