Its winter in the midwest. Not like it hasn't happened before.

No. It's always seemed that most of the entries don't usually come in until after the holidays. Perhaps a priority left for the administrators to do after holiday breaks/vacations.

I've voiced cancern over lack of entries (and lack of TV schedule) in the past. However, everyone seems to show up for Pomona and races get televised, so I'm just happy that we're only a month away from racing!

more worried about the pomona fan count. is anyone aware of anything being done differently going
into 2014 to attract more fans to the track?....i see the nhra struck a deal with circle K convenience stores to
sponsor the race.....circle K must have stole that deal; one month to go until you host an unsponsored race
at your own track, much less the 'renowned' winternationals
...i see the circle K/winternationals logo is also
occupying the new hampshire slot on the nhra.com 2014 mello yello schedule.

If there is even close to as many fans that was at the World Finals then it should be pretty good. I think the car counts are going to be pretty good also.more worried about the pomona fan count. is anyone aware of anything being done differently going

I wouldnt be too worried, seeing they'll be lucky to fill the fields. There's no rush.

Even the sportsman's classes are a little low at the moment, (exception SC,) but there's still another 30 days or so, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure everyone who intends to enter has a date on their calender circled and we just haven't gotten there yet.

Yep its Winter all right, I was outside in sunny 72 degree Newport Beach at the shop today painting a hood for one of the Vettes we are sending to Barret Jackson Scottsdale next week.

We were laughing about that today too. The media has taken to actually naming winter storms, and it's a complete meltdown over some sub-zero temps. Next year, I'm sure thunderstorms will have names as well. Few years back when they started calling rain a "rain event" I knew it was all downhill from there.
Boy if that doesn't represent the Arrogance most people in So. Cal. Display I don't know what does....Man! Have you ever lived through a Cold Winter? Sounds to me you don't have a clue what the Country is going through...
