Could you imagine the horror that would come to people that might have to sit in the stands and watch the other classes!!

Does anybody remember when Billy Meyer's car while idling came off the Jackstands and took off out of his Pit at Pomona in the 70's? Don't know if anybody was injured though!

Much like 4-wide, paying extra to go in the pits is nothing new. Surprised nhra hasn't brought it back yet.

Super Comp car at Fontana, engine explosions over the years at National Events, Antron's rear tire....there have been a few times where a fan could have been/or was seriously hurt. Remember....most rules are written in blood these days.
