While we're at it.... Is it me or is the wonderful production team adding sound effects to the show now? I was watching the unorganized format last night and now it seems that they are adding what sounds like a car sreeching their tires when they do the top end stuff and No, I was not drinking.LOL

Dean used standard Beta and VHS cameras, that is what they had in the 80's.
A phone sounds better than the crud that .TV calls audio, they only want the announcers heard, stick in audio into the background,
clueless production.
Also on Fox, the results scroll bar is back and the video is lacking the near 4K look of last year. Major step downward this year. Noticed the crisp clean video and no scroll bar has now gone to Indy Car!

Indy car is fs1s baby. We are on the chit list now. Not the fastest anymore... some1 new this year at fs1 that hates ps car bc they dont show it all. I emailed nhra,hopefully some others do to. Kinda hoping ihra or whoever runs the bradenton deal competea with nhra bc they need the competition badly

I'm in agreement with the lousy sound on FS1 and I don't understand the deal with Pro Stock getting short shrift. That 3 hour show had at least half an hour of pure filler so it's not like there wasn't time. BUT....
Before the advent of the internet and sporadic TV coverage I can recall having to call NHRA, at $1.25 a minute, just to get the results of a national event. So I say that the current coverage is like sex - when it's good, it's good - and when it's bad, it's still pretty good. So I keep my complaining to a minimum.
Now, here's what the sound COULD be. Watch this video of Joe Haas warming his nostalgia FC, taken by a rank ass amateur. Gets good around 1:10. I have no idea of what equipment they were using but FS1 should invest in something like it.
