NHRA own tracks ?

NHRA owns Pomona, Gainesville, Atlanta, & Indy

SMI owns Las Vegas, Charlotte, Bristol, & Sonoma
Napp family own E-Town
Stauffer family own Maple Grove Raceway (Reading)
Angel family own Royal Purple Raceway (Houston)
Bader family own Summit Motorsports Park (Norwalk)
Bandimere family own Bandimere Speedway (Denver)
Billy Meyer owns Texas Motorplex (Dallas)
Dale Coyne and others own Route 66 Raceway (Chicago)
Shareholders own New England Dragway (Epping)
as of 2006 Jed & Kristi Copham own Brainerd
as of 2013 Curtis Francois owns Gateway

Jason Fiorito owns/owned Pacific Raceways. Not sure on this one several sites list him as selling.

Unless something has changed, Route 66 is owned by ISC (which is the track owner side of NASCAR)
And technically NHRA doesn't own Pomona because the property is the Fairgrounds. They have a long term lease with the Fairplex.

Kern County owns Bakersfield and they lease it to NHRA who leases it to John and Blake Bowser.

Do not and have never owned Pomona. Owned by Los Angeles County.

When did Tony George drop off the list? When he stepped down as president of the IRL? I had thought it was bought from the previous owners by ISC and IMS together. It would make sense since IndyCar doesn't race there anymore. Plus we get the same old rumors every year, they are going to shut down the drag strip and turn it into an airport for the NASCAR boys. I just shake my head and laugh.
