Our schedule is set for this year, the short notice doesn't work well flying full time. I bid vacation around race schedule in September for the next year. While a big ask, next year's schedule before this September would change our availability and the idea of not being matched up with Langdon or Doug every first round would be inspiring. Depending on carnage out of Norwalk and Maple Grove, there is a slim chance of doing the last IHRA race...... We will see.

Texas ? Am i missing something ? I thought the IHRA Nitro Series for this year was 5 races - none of which were even close to Texas.

I live in Texas and we are going to the one in NC. Been looking forward to IHRA resurgence since 2008.

1/8th Mile for 500” pro stock?? . . . . That’s gonna be nothing more than a ‘practice tree’ contest. Pro stock is the only ‘pro class’, where you can still observe a car make a ‘top end’ charge, for a win. They really don’t need the participants to bring their cars, all the IHRA needs to do , is just build a booth, with two chairs, two hand held buttons and a life-size Christmas tree. You could hold a 32 car field and eliminations will be over, in under 10 minutes.

I don’t think they have announced anything. Floracing could be a possibility. They may just stream in house from YouTube, Facebook or nothing at all. I hope there is something. More racing to watch is never a bad thing.

I'm hoping for success also. Been waiting since 2008 for this I am more interested in the lower tier nitro cars than the touring ones. After Lexs 3.88, I hope he gets to hold a 500000$ check. I'm going from Texas for the last one in NC.

1/8 mile racing is for people who wish they could go 5 seconds in the 1/4 but don't have the funds....
Also, when you're traveling on the highway, they give you 1/4 mile before the next exit, not 1/8..... we don't deal in such small numbers
