I have no problem with the nhra trying to eliminate the down time, I was in dallas and we were down about an hour and that was lucky, but join me when i say this, I understand a strict policy but isn't this kinda overkill and far to harsh?
I can see the nhra is coming off, in terms of oil downs, a terrible race but every now and then that's gonna happen. It seems out of line to just throw out a run, runs should only be ousted if your over the nitro percentage, not the minimal body drops we seen on force and wilk.
NHRA should just go back to the old system of money and/or points. That was effective, this new system i see how it could hurt alot of the smaller teams. It could take a nice friday night run and throw it out and the team dnq's saturday. Bottom line, money and or points, don't mess with runs.
