It is replacing Topeka as a National event track for 2024. It was in the press release a few weeks ago.

I'm over here eating crow. When that track broke ground, I said there is no way it would have enough room to support a National event.

Looking at the map, I was thinking the same thing. I do think it will be tight/congested in areas but other tracks are as well. I’m excited to go.
 
My Pops lives about two and a half hours South of there. We are already planning on going to the first National event. It has been decades since any of us have gone to one. Brainerd in the late '90's was probably mine and my Dad's last. I don't think my Brother has been to one yet.
