So maybe NHRA can get Flying J Truckstops to be the title event sponsor for their race at Flying H. Would be an interesting bit of marketing.

Of course they'll still give a flying flip about the fans, LOL

Maybe they could find an old Flying Tigers aircraft. Sorry, couldn't resist. I think Flying H is such a cool name - be really cool to have a replica of a 1951 dragster with Flying H logo on it. Maybe put it at the spectator entrance.

Sure, why not? An old P-40 with the right paint scheme might work. Sort of a track mascot. I like it.

hearing reports of odessa delay. there was so much rain there last night, and not all pit roads have been built yet.
some of the cars can't even get out of their own pit and to staging. pit road building taking place this morning

So the track is still under construction and there is already an NHRA national event tentatively scheduled to run there next summer? Lets hope everything goes as planned and nothing falls through....
