The RPM limit will be raised 500 on Ford and Dodge entries starting in Charlotte.

Too little, too late.
The limit should never have been implemented in the first place. Everybody and his brother knew the limit was going to kill the Mopars, yet NHRA put the limit in place anyway.
And now, in hopes of attracting Mopars and Fords back they say, “never mind.”
Who has been working to improve the Fords and Mopars from the time the limit was put into place?
I’d venture to say nobody.
Just kill the class NHRA. You’ve been terrible at managing it since 1972.

The new fuel hurt the HEMI more than the RPM limit. Now that the Fords and MOPARS are 5 years out of date sure let them come back and play.
