IHRA's New PS program (1 Viewer)

I'd find it quite amusing if The I opened up the barn doors for the first couple of seasons and let the class have a basic rules package and let teams build anything that applies. Seeing a new Charger PS or a 1993 Olds Cutlass face off against a COPO Camaro would definitely keep me in the stands if the competition was close.

Don't know the WB on the Charger, but remember when Glidden built the T Bird when others were in short WB cars,.? It was to take advantage of the rubber on the starting line.
Maybe history will repeat itself.

IIRC the "new" 2 door Charger was built specifically by the factory for the class.?? Personally I think any car built by the factory should be able to run PS. Yes some wouldn't be competitive but looking back thru PS there are many out there that would be.
Imagine body styles from the late 60's thru current lined up. The Challenger, Camaro and Mustang are quite a bit larger than they're predecessors.

Chevy produced 759 COPO's between 2012-23, most are collector cars, some have crashed, there are no more.
Very rare cars with value going up every year
Dennis Collins and Richard Rawlings still have a bunch of those cars for sale. Don’t quote me but I believe they are rollers and can be bought as a roller or will build to your liking.
