Maybe the NHRA should let 'em rev to whatever level the engines can tolerate - and utilize - regardless of manufacturer. I understand all the bitching about valve springs and expensive unobtanium components as the reasons for 10500 but hey, PS ain't a cheap class in the first place. If your Hemi is competitive at 11.5, NHRA needs to let 'er eat.
Probably a controversial statement at best but if anyone wants to see PS with anything other than DRCE powered Camaros I don't see any other way. What a shame Factory X didn't take off; it was an answer to the lack of variety despite being a bit slower. Myself, I'd rather see at least 3 major brands (with brand-specific engines) competing at 6.80/200 than a parade of Camaros at 6.50/210. Your mileage may vary.
