Not to make light of a tragic situation but I thought exactly the same thing when reading that. Glad they put in so much time to come up with that assessment.

Wow, I didn't need to read that, it is bringing that fateful day back in my head. This confirms what Alan said about Scott being conscious as the car entered the trap.

I took a lot of **** here for blaming the placement of the camera boom in that thread that was deleted. But According to the NJ state police report, the car didn't break up until it hit the 23,000 lb lift counterweight.

I'm not at all trying to start any drama here but was wondering what it all means...specifically the Ethanol part?

It was .02%.... His BAC had nothing to do with the outcome of the crash. The engine would have still exploded even if his BAC was .0%

I do not know what the importance of ethanol is in the report... but ethanol is what we commonly refer to as alcohol or grain alcohol.

I agree, I don't care what Scott's BAC was, there was no saving that car given the situation.

I'm quite sure it is either state law or standard procedure to check and report the BAC in any motor vehicle accident.
