We had a real successful car show on Saturday and right in the middle of it all Mike Kloeber came up to me and gave one of his past team crew shirts to auction off. It was a cool moment and it was just one more thing that made the show so special. We had a lot of NHRA memorabilia that we auctioned off including an autographed John Force diecast and an autographed Ashley Force shirt that was overnighted to me via Dave Densmore through me friend Jim Rockstad.
We had a solid line of people come in from 9AM to 3PM with no breaks in the line and then it finally slowed down a little bit. All in all it was the biggest and best event I have ever promoted. We had thousands of people and well over 100 cars.
The only gitch happened when a child pulled the fire alarm at the end during the awards but nobody seemed to have cared much including me.
