In my circle of racing I have 2 vastly different worlds, my circle track world of friends, fans, racers, track owners, series officials and and sanctioning body folks is immense, in the South here, my drag racing circle is much smaller yet still busy.
There is some major talk among my drag racing sphere that there is a load of discussion over the proposed drag strip in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This proposed drag strip is being eyeballed by the NHRA as a replacement of the Houston event in 2023. Oh my how this could be cool. And it would not be just a 1/8mi. track.
