The pilot jumped out of the wreckage, looked for the first microphone shoved in his face and in his best Robert Hight voice said " I want to thank the AAA for putting their sign there, they have always been a part of this facility and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have gotten to where I am! Also, thanks to the La Verne Fire Department for their quick response and finally thanks to Cessna and all of my sponsors, and as John always says...didja see the way my old heap trucked on down there and burned?!"
