Looked like a real short field everywhere. Like 21 super stocks and 36 stockers. 19 in comp. Pretty light I would say.

Temps approaching 100, density altitude over 10000 feet. Lots of independent teams blow off Denver, which can be a really expensive place to spend a weekend.

When Ray Higley was alive, he said that Denver was more expensive than any other track they ran at! You have to push the combo so hard to make Power it just kills Parts!

Tell you what Paul, from a fans perspective...There's Not a Better seat in Drag racing than Bandimere! The stands are so high up you look down at the cars, the Noise up against that Mountain is amazing!
