McMillen Hangs Around For Semi-Final Appearance

Cayuga, ON - Terry McMillen and his Amalie Oil InstiGator, powered by Torco Race Fuels, waited out the weather for the second time at the IHRA Canadian Nationals. The payoff, a semi-final showdown with Paul Noakes of London, Ontario. Noakes would go on to win the event in an all Canadian final with Larry Dobbs.

"We're glad we made it as far as we did," said McMillen. "It seemed like the race that would never end for awhile." The once post phoned race was rained delayed often and finished on Monday afternoon. "Our hats are off to Paul and his team," McMillen added. "They pulled off low ET of eliminations and a great hole shot to beat us, I'm not sure there was anything that we could have done to beat him."

McMillen's semi-final appearance moves the team back into fourth place in the championship hunt.

McMillen's Hoosier Thunder Motorsports team leaves directly from Canada for the next stop on the eMax Drag Racing schedule, the Torco Racing Fuels President's Cup Nationals in Budds Creek Maryland, just outside of Baltimore. "We're really looking forward to Maryland," said McMillen. "It's always a big race when Torco is involved. We've got some work left to do and two races left to make our mark on this season."

McMillen will also make a stop in Waynesboro, Virginia for an Amalie Oil display at Fisher Auto Parts between 10Am and 2PM on Wednesday.

The InstiGator team partners with high quality and high performance companies like; Amalie Oil, Torco Race Fuels, eRaceFuels, Flatout Gaskets, NGK Spark Plugs, MSD, Fatheadz.com, GO Graphix, Powershield Coatings, Crane Cams, eMax and No Limit Custom Coach.
