Maple Grove :(

I've only read what's been written here and haven't watched/read any of the results thus far, but if what you've all said is true, good chance Terry and Chris won't get paid at all. They're both first round ducks anyway, so this hurt$ worse than anything else for these two.

Just wondering how much info Zippy got off Brit's run. However, it didn't seem to work for John and Courtney.

so for the people that were at the race on sunday. how was the weather ?? was it freezing cold sitting in the bleachers? did it warm up
Once the sun broke through around 3:30 it was good. I was wearing my hunting coat today and that kept me much warmer than what I was yesterday. Overall it was a good day of racing and I had a good time all weekend even though the weather didn't cooperate completely.

The numbers do not lie. 3.77 in PSM - 3.89 FC - 3.70 TF - about 10, yes ten 6.4's in PS. Also the quickest side by side FC in history. Oh yes a new Natl. record FC.
If this doesn't prove it was not too cold.................I don't know what will. .............................................The defense rests. (lol)

It was also 10 degrees ambient warmer today and there was Sun on the track after round one. Comparing yesterday to today is not apples to apples.

Was there a Maple Grove Mater meeting gathered around a burning 55 gallon drum? Fingerless gloves trying to warm up? Coffee served in empty food cans?

3.77 in PSM? What a hell of a motorcycle that was...:) I heard that comment about the quickest FC side-by-side in history, and I assumed they meant in a competition round. The quickest side-by-side of all time was Hagen (3.88) and Worsham (3.89) during FC qualifying at last week's St. Louis race.

The sun was in and out all day starting at about 930. It finally came out for good around 230. Track temp was about 15 degrees warmer 1st round than it was at any point yesterday. Air temp was about 13 degrees warmer, but if it's that important for you to be right Zap, keeping making up as many facts as you'd like.

Hey Mike, how bad was the car after it got into the wall?

and Mike is right, once it warmed up the cars started going down the track more consistently. I don't recall seeing that many pedal jobs in 1 round of racing like we had in the first round. Just like when the race on an extremely hot track it's tricky, an extremely cold track provided similar racing.

The defense may want to go look at the facts. It was warmer on Sunday. I know it's all the crazy science stuff, but there is a too cold point.

Not as bad as it looked. The quarter panel got the worst of it and it tried to rip the chute mount off. One rim and one header bit the dust. We're going to try and have it fixed for Dallas, if not we will put the Monte Carlo body back on.

pretty sure the reference to the quickest side x side FC pass was in eliminations.....yes, the hagan/worsham Q pass
in st. louis was quickest ever.

unreal this year watching the FC e.t. record reset so often within 7 races......jack has reset 3x?....worsham with 1.
hopefully at end of year nhra or somebody can show race by race (starting at sonoma) each category and a list of
low et's and high mph marks
