i would be willing to bet that tv ratings will be through the roof this weekend with all the press the nhra has received over this 1000' deal. i, for one, won't miss a minute.

You all just wait until they get down at sea level, on a fast track, in the right weather.... it will truly generate some new and much needed excitement where seemingly the record book gets re-wrote with every car that goes down the lane. A low .80 is definately in the realm of possibility in the right conditions.

I thought NHRA did away with the night time qualifying sessions did I miss something?
