Anything's possible, but that footage looked pieced together, meaning maybe he did a few test squirts first. Not that he couldn't go 160, it's more about learning the procedures. Either way, good show and I'm looking forward to more episodes.

and next year nhra goes to 'next package up' channel with even fewer viewers

He ran 3 passes. He checked with Tracy Fiscle first and said he would take it easy. He ran 135 on the first pass

Part of what makes any show good is first having a host who is knowledgeable about what they are talking about.

I also believe finding a host who is a bit of a character really helps and Jay Leno fits perfectly for both of these qualities.
