<P> (10-7-08) Grand Junction, CO – October on the east coast means cool nighttime weather and for a drag racer that means FAST. With Tuner Al Billes in his corner Mike Knowles is hoping to take advantage of the cool east coast weather this weekend at the NHRA Virginia Nationals held at Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, Virginia.

"Our main focus continues to be preparation for the '09 season but that doesn't mean we're not going to get after it for the remainder of this season. This time of year the air is ripe for good numbers an I think AL will take advantage of that," said Team Owner/Driver Mike Knowles.

Knowles is still searching for that elusive first five and weather permitting this could be the weekend. "Running a five under legal trim is a personal goal I've set for myself. I know with the help of my tuner (Al Billes) it's just a matter of time. It will come, we just have to hope the weather holds out," said Knowles.
