On another thread, Jenn Jaramillo told a funny story about the time when she took her Goddaughter to a class with her (don't worry Jenn, i know you're not an older student). It reminded me how much I love having adults in my classes. Because they are usually making a sacrifice to go to college as an adult, they take school a lot more seriously than someone who is between 18 and 22. But I had one older student who was late a lot for class. One day i saw him and his daughter on campus. I told her that she needed to make sure her daddy got to school on time. He was never late again.
