- to follow up on paul songas' post in TAFC thread.......that 5.51 by mick steele is great; and happy to see bob mccosh post a 5.49 after struggling to get a hold of the

- earl nichols driving the samsel TAD, comes out firing with career best 5.19 in TAD Q1 today
- mike lewis is driving a randy meyer digger this weekend. he went 5.17 in samel's car in brainerd a month ago

top sportsman is quickly becoming one of my favorite classes........breakout racing at 200+; just look at the various cool makes of cars.
go really fast, and you don't have to have the fastest car to win ...... this class is just plain cool

ain't much of a PSB fan, but guage h. just ran 6.719 for lowest ET ever in class. wow.
how low are the ET's going to be today? this weekend? ....... have a feeling the house of chaos is about to deliver big time.

and a 7.71 @177 in factory stock on 9" tire! talk about hauling the mail. why even have factory X class?
greg stanfield led X class at indy with low et 7.23 and 191mph. who cares about the 1/2 second. i'd rather watch top sportsman.

I think Gaige is just the quickest at Maple Grove. Karen Stoffer ran a mid 6.60 pass in Gainesville last year.

They are running hard! Ashley 296mph at the 1/8 gettin' close, Funny car needs a little more work to get that 300mph in the 1/8.

How many times has a Pro class field all qualified within 8 hundredths (.08) and 1 1/2 mph (Pro Stock)? Also - has anyone ever run a 6.581 and not made the field in Pro Stock? Looks like Reaction Time most likely wins this deal barring tire shake or mechanical failure. The average time it takes someone to blink is .100 to .400. This means the whole field is Qualified within less than a blink.

With the start time at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, I guess they will be grinding the sportsman classes tonite. One thing that Maple Grove has above many other tracks with surrounding neighbors and curfews, All their neighbors are Awesome!!

So did Gaige Herrera - at the 2023 Keystone Nationals. (6.67 and 6.68) :)
Credit where it's due - Enders qualifies #1, 6.49, with an RT to match. I doubt she's going to listen to much if any more criticism about snapping at Amanda Busick. I'm still rooting for Caruso.

Yes, and NHRA can tear the bike down all day long which I can bank on that the did many time thru the season but, I can bet that Gauge tells Andrew, Put the full tune up in it and I WILL drive that bike thru the tough spots and run numbers that will make the others scratch their heads!

I gave you a like because you are going tomorrow not because it's gonna rain. It's nice that they are moving the sportsman classes along so that they don't have to take the back burner to the pro classes and wait it out until Monday to get a tow vehicle to pull them out. Have fun!! B.T.W not towards Eugene but the Shady Maple is closed on Sundays because they are Mennoite! He's chilling in CA. Miss seeing you brutha!
