I really wish my Dad and I were going to this. If you want to get technical, Connie's actually been racing more like 55 or 56 years. Dad, Conrad, Doug Sr. and a couple other gear head 15 year olds would all pile in one car and cruise Gratiot & Woodward then go out to Motor City Dragway.
I would think it will be highlighted in some portion of the JFRTV broadcasts.
Don't forget too, this is Jeff Arend's 1-year anniversary of driving for Connie. He's officially over the non-win hump now; would be cool to see him take Scott's car some rounds.
Maybe the mystery guest will be the desk clerk conrad punched out at the hotel from Indy 1985. Or it could be the off duty cop that wrestled him to the ground right after???

...or the hotel manager in Texas he punched out, or perhaps former crew guys who helped spirit him out of places after incidents. The list goes on for days. Jim O does a great impression. Wish I could be there.
LOL Pat, that's awesome. Now don't forget - for as many crazy racing stories there are out there, there's probably twice as many flying stories! A Blow up doll in the cockpit? Forcing Air Force One into a holding pattern? Coasting to a stop on the ramp in Ohio with both engines fuel-starved, with Larry Morgan onboard?? LOL Connie, I love ya!
