Some good news also came in the shade of mustard yellow.....

I am convinced that Scott Kalitta had a hand in his team's Indy showing, since it was the 1 year anniversary of bringing his race car back out:

Jeff Arend got his second 1st round win at Jerry Toliver's expense!
Jeff Arend's team made 2 good back-to-back runs on raceday!
David Grubnic got a round win!
Connie Kalitta got roasted!
Doug Kalitta is in the Countdown to the Championship!

No drama though; Nobody got in a fight; nobody drove into the wall - the biggest concern was probably the foul language that spewed from the mouths of legends during the Roast.

I forgot to mention, stock car pretty boy Tony Stew was in the booth with Bob Frey & mentioned he remembers racing with Doug Kalitta back in the Sprints.... yet I noticed how he he inconspicuously forgot to mention WHO specifically denied him of the 1994 USAC Crown! DK owned him!
