the difference is the car and tuner. She will run Mike's car tuned by Flinn. She has tested in that car many times over last year or two. Since Flinn knows the car already the learning curve with a new car goes away. Team shouldn't miss a beat

Maybe they didn't test as much as we think they did. She only made a half pass/check-out pass yesterday. If she was ready, they would have had her leg it out for a full pull. Now maybe the car wouldn't have made it since almost everyone was struggling, but still surprising they had her get out of it after roughly 500'.
