The weather here is nice - but not too hot. As a matter of fact I just put on a pair of sweat pants because there's a bit of a chill in the air this evening. Perfect weather for mowing the lawn, though. I'm just crossing my fingers that it we'll have nice weather here for the Northwest Nationals this coming weekend.

Rich, perfect weather is here, just put a 60 in big screen on our patio and we got coldies to sit out there tonight and watch Driving Force at 10

It's a cool 92 today with a low 76% humidity
. I am so grateful that I have an indoor job. I can remember when Dad would come home and his eyes would be raw from sweat. God bless that man and Mom for insisting on and paying for my college education.
I just keep telling myself: Somewhere somebody's suffering in terrible cold and can't do anything about it.

I could cry watching my meter spin like a top fuel dragster's tires, while the temperature goes up my bank account goes down.
Known by first name at the bank getting loans to fill up gas tank and pay electric bill.
Since my brother works for TXU electric company I just look at it as paying his salary. That way I can demand services for it. LOL

Is been so hot and humid in Houston I had to buy a cover for the lap top to keep the sweat from dripping down into it and having it catch on fire like the one on the Net!
So where do they send me to finally get away from the heat and humidity??
New Orleans, the capitol of heat and humidity!
Look in the Dictionary under heat and humidity and it has a picture of downtown New Orleans!
Any one know if the Casino is back open in Harvey ??
Bet the air conditioning ain't the only thing cold there!
